The series originally began as a simple interview style program set in various conventions across Toronto and Mississauga. Since the shows inception in 2006, The Conventioneers has undergone periods of formatting changes. They no longer were exclusive to conventions as they showcased in the "Calgary Adventure" episodes. Since that episode the Conventioneers were known to visit events such as Wakestock, and The Festival of Beer. The Conventioneers is one of the staples of the Bite TV rotation, as it receives constant repeat airings.
